Witness asked him to return it, but prisoner denied any knowledge of it. Witness then gave information to the police, and soon after prisoner was arrested.-- Lucy Wells, a servant at the Marquis of Granby, said that prosecutor entered the house very drunk, and left after using bad language. He returned and charged her with stealing the bottle of wine, and then accused Brown.-- Prisoner discharged. |
