MARRIAGE OF MISS CLARA AGNES BARLOW-MASSICKS

On Tuesday last, at All Saints Church, Upper Norwood, Miss Clara Agnes Barlow-Massicks sixth daughter of Mr. Thomas Barlow-Massicks J.P., formerly of The Oaks, Millom was married to Mr. Henry Wilfrid Sparrow, son of the late James Sparrow J.P., of Gwersyllt Hill, Wrexham. The bridesmaids were the Misses Flo, Kathleen and Maud Hornung, nieces of the bride. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Dobson, canon of St. Asaph, vicar of Montford, and rector of Sherwardine, near Shrewsbury, assisted by the Rev. J. Taylor, vicar of All Saints, Upper Norwood. The service was choral. The wedding presents were numerous and valuable, the old friends in the Millom district testifying to the esteem to which Mr. Barlow-Massicks and the family were held. Mrs. Charles Hornung, the bride's sister, afterwards held a reception at Oaklands, Beulah Hill, Upper Norwood. The wedding cake was supplied by Miss Danson, of Millom.
