INQUESTS BEFORE MR. HUTCHINSON, CORONER

An inquest was held on Friday week [this would be 5th March] at White Brigg Moor, in the parish of Clowne, on the body of John Wells. The jury found that the deceased had met with his death from a fall from the foreboard of a cart which he was driving on the public road. The off wheel of the cart went over the lower part of the head, and caused instantaneous death. A verdict to this effect was returned.
